Cock Inn Wishaw

We took a friend who hasn&#39;t been there and he was very impressed with the Restaurant. It is a little bit out of the way and some would say hard to find, but we thought it was well worth the effort.

Visited The Cock Inn for a birthday meal, had the nourish bowl, slow roast belly pork and the fish cakes. All were excellent, well presented and tasty. Service very good, staff friendly and polite. Fruit crumble dessert was huge and very tasty. Menu offers wide range, something for everyone. Recommended.

I organised my sister 70th birthday meal with 33 people coming and it was a secret from my sister so I had to drop off all the decorations and cake the day before but the staff did an excellent job. The evening went off really well and all the staff were so helpful.Especially as I know they had staff shortages.

Excellent food and service in very pleasant surroundings   And very quick from super-pleasant staff - especially the two Graces! Remarkably not too expensive.

Nice place to go for brunch.  Mine was a little cold and the scrambled egg wasn&rsquo;t good- but they quickly changed it and then it was delicious,  husband&rsquo;s full English was excellent.  It&rsquo;s a lovely place for a reasonable price.  Staff very nice and friendly.

Only the best is good enough, the Parson Clerk takes some beating for excellence, the management (Stacey) welcomes customers with a delightful smile, so too are the staff who always show their customers with polite smiling greetings and are always there for their needs.
